Forgiveness is complicated because our lives are complicated. We still need to forgive so we can progress; it is a process of strength and resilience. So, how do you forgive the unforgivable? The Red Place exposes us to stories of people who have overcome and forgiven the cruel traumas that have taken place in their lives. This documentary was created with other people in mind, however it turned into a self-assessment of the director’s own struggle to forgive her uncle’s murder.
