Francois Verster is a multiple award-winning Cape Town-based documentary director, producer, cinematographer and editor who also teaches film at the Centre for Humanities Research at the University of the Western Cape. His films include the Emmy Award-winning A LION’S TRAIL, WHEN THE WAR IS OVER, THE MOTHERS’ HOUSE, SEA POINT DAYS, THE DREAM OF SHAHRAZAD and more recently the World Press Photo Award-winning and Emmy-nominated SCENES FROM A DRY CITY (co-directed with Simon Wood).
